SKIES ist ein rauschender Fluss an Bildern und Klängen, ohne Anfang und ohne Ende. Die begehbare Videoinstallation nimmt die Besucher:innen mit auf eine Reise durch vertraute Umgebungen, die zu fernen Galaxien werden. Der 30-minütige Loop wird im Liegen betrachtet – inmitten einer Klangkomposition, die sich über sechzehn Kanäle zu einem dreidimensionalen akustischen Raum entfaltet.

Hello I am Eva Maria Espejo aka Eva Mirror, a Visual Artist and Designer based since 2014 in Switzerland. I am born in Barcelona and then lived in several places as Madrid, Sevilla, Brighton, Buenos Aires, Torino and Berlin, first started to study Sociology interested in art, cultures and ethnology but soon I saw the desire of creation by means of investigation.
My paintings and Illustration are mostly animals and portraits, I listened once that my works are a mix between Pop, Surrealism, Naive Art, Psychedelic, Magic realism and Avant-garde. As Digital Artist I am working since 2010 and as Graphic Design I made experience in Editorial, Magazines and Illustration. I’ve taught Art for Primary and Secondary school as complementary activity using personal tools for the creative own knowledge and development as therapy or simply as way to start learning arts.

«FILL THE VOID»
Ein leeres Blatt Papier, eine neue Leinwand; ein Bild ohne Inhalt – die Fähigkeit, Inhalt in die Leere zu schaffen, liegt bei dir. Der Stift schwebt über dem Weiss. Zögern, Zweifeln, Werten – lange passiert nichts und die Leere scheint übermächtig. Doch irgendwo ganz klein, ein mutiger erster Strich. Dann ein zweiter. Besser als die Leere zuvor, denkst du dir. Bei dem dritten Strich wünschst du dir plötzlich das reine Weiss zurück. Dieser Prozess zieht sich hin, bis sich die Leere füllt.
Von Anfang März bis Ende April ist die Ausstellung «FILL THE VOID» im Kulturbüro St.Gallen zu erleben. Der St.Galler Illustrator, online (Instagram) unter dem Pseudonym @inuroc zu finden, kreiert Wimmelbilder in schwarz-weiss und zeichnet in der ersten Märzwoche mutig spontan auf das Schaufenster.

L’œuvre Dent Blanche de Sebastian Silva est une représentation vibrante et colorée de cette montagne emblématique des Alpes valaisannes, qui culmine à 4'358 mètres. Cette pyramide de gneiss presque parfaite se transforme ici en une interprétation à la fois exacte et subjective du territoire, où l’artiste fusionne rigueur géographique et liberté créative. En s’appuyant sur un système d’information géographique open source et des géodonnées publiques, Sebastian déconstruit et réinvente le paysage avec une palette éclatante, révélant la richesse topographique et émotionnelle de ce sommet majestueux.

Tout a commencé à Barcelone en 2023. Seul, sous les néons d’une ville qui ne dort jamais, Charley Klein s’est posé LA question : Pourquoi «Ariana Grandessimo» n’avait jamais réussi à exister comme il l’avait rêvée ? Était-ce lui, le problème ? Cette place vide au centre du groupe, cette absence qui criait plus fort que la musique elle-même… était-ce la sienne ?
Mais l’univers a un sens du timing théâtral. Avec le temps, l’évidence s’est imposée. Charley n’avait pas à chercher sa place. Il devait la créer. Un rituel de métamorphose, une incantation vocale, et «Ariana» s’est étirée, déployée, démesurée… jusqu’à devenir Grandessimo. Plus qu’un alter ego, une renaissance flamboyante, sans retenue, sans limites.
En 2024, la prophétie s’accomplit avec CAVES, un premier single où les guitares de Kiki résonnent comme un cri dans l’obscurité.
«Ariana Grandessimo» n’est plus une chimère, elle est un fait. Une diva venue d’un ailleurs où le drame est sacré, où le queer est roi, où l’émotion se chante en lettres capitales et paillettes dorées. Et si l’histoire ne fait que commencer, une chose est sûre : il n’y a plus de place vide au centre. Il y a Ariana.

"Im Schatten unserer Selbst"
Julia Roman setzt sich in ihrer aktuellen Arbeit mit Schatten als Symbol und Metapher, abstrakt und konkret auseinander. Schatten sind omnipräsent, entziehen sich jedoch oft unserer Wahrnehmung, da sie im alltäglichen Tumult unserer Aufmerksamkeit entkommen.
In dieser Ausstellung wird ein grosser Schatten direkt auf das Schaufenster gemalt. Durch die Transparenz des Glases wird dieser aus neuen Perspektiven erfahrbar: Er kann sowohl von innen als auch von aussen betrachtet werden. Dies ist ein Versuch, den flüchtigen Moment festzuhalten und zu verlangsamen, um seine Vergänglichkeit erlebbar zu machen.
Die Ausstellung regt gleichzeitig zur Selbstreflexion an: Besucher*innen können sich mit dem Symbol des Schattens in ihrem eigenen Leben und der Vergänglichkeit auseinandersetzen. Welche Schatten begleiten uns? Was nehmen wir wahr – und was bleibt im Verborgenen?
Julia Roman ist selbstständige Grafikerin und Künstlerin, die sich zwischen St.Gallen und Wien bewegt.
