What is KOMPASS?

KOMPASS is a free advisory platform that supports artists in realising their visions and ideas. With this low-threshold offer, the contributors want to help as many artists as possible to put their plans into practice.

Practical questions are often neglected at art academies, but also in everyday professional life. This is precisely where KOMPASS comes in.

From mid-September 2023, the KOMPASS team at the Kulturbüro Bern will be offering advice to cultural practitioners of all disciplines who have questions about their projects: Whether it's about realistic budgeting or correct accounting, dealing with social insurances, clarifying copyright issues, founding an association, researching projects or writing convincing concepts and funding applications - the KOMPASS team offers support whenever possible.

Consultations at KOMPASS do not require an appointment. Anyone who needs support and would like to get advice from professionals or just wants to exchange ideas on a specific topic is very welcome. The advisor and the artist sit down together and discuss the questions. Together we find solutions.
