Digital self-marketing/Frank Lemloh
How can creative artists strategically use social media, blogs, websites and video platforms for their online marketing? The workshop addressed the question: what are the challenges you are facing in your (digital) self-marketing? Creative and cultural artists have to address the fundamental question of their (artistic) identity and how they express and communicate it. It was about personality, the meaning of work and system of values, target groups, positioning and the communication people would like to have. Time factors and technical hurdles were also discussed in the workshop. The workshop was also to encourage people to start the self-marketing process and see it as a creative exercise that can also be fun.
