Boom
The Rode NTG-3 microphone has a super-cardioid characteristic, 50% less internal noise than other directional microphones and was developed for film, television and electronic reporting (ENG) to a professional level. However, this set is also compatible with many other directional microphones with a maximum length of 325 mm and diameter of 19-25 mm. The following microphones are suitable: Sanken CS3, Sennheiser MKH416, Rode NTG-3, Schoeps CMIT 5U, Neumann KMR 81i. The wind protection is equipped with a lightweight handle and a 3/8” thread. The wind protection reduces strong handling and wind noises. Total length of wind protection 440 mm. The extremely light boom (535 g) can be dismantled into 5 segments of 65-260 mm.
