The entire offering of Kulturbüro St.Gallen  is exclusively for creative and cultural artists based in Switzerland for projects in culture, the social field, sport and other initiatives supported by Migros Ostschweiz Kulturprozent. This excludes purely commercial as well as private events, weddings or birthdays for example.

Do it yourself: we can show the basics of how to operate the devices, customers must however understand how to operate the equipment themselves.

Please note: we register new customers only on presentation of a valid extract/copy of liability insurance.

Reservations are taken during opening hours by telephone or in person at the Kulturbüro.

Provisional reservations are not possible.

The calender view shows you which devices are free over the next 60 days.

Daily rental prices: from midday to midnight
Weekends (Sat–Mon): 2 daily rentals
1 week (7 days): 5 daily rentals

All prices are without guarantee.

The rented items can be hired out for 1 to a maximum of 21 days.

The first rental is subject to prior payment and presentation of valid ID (ID/passport) and liability insurance.

Collect

Mon.–Fri. 2:30 pm – 6:00 pm (Bus 1:30 - 6:00 pm/
Sat: 1:00 pm - 3:30 pm (Bus 12 to 3.30 pm)

Return

Mon.–Fri. 1:30 pm – 2:30 pm (Bus 12:30-1:00 pm)
Sat: 12:00–1.00 pm (Bus 11:00 am - 11:30 am)

Late return counts as an extra day.

Up to 15 days before rental: free of charge
8 – 14 days before rental: 25% of rental price
5 – 7 days before rental: 50% of rental price
0 – 4 days before rental: 100% of rental price

Rental equipment

The Kulturbüro accepts no liability for damage arising from the use of hired items; liability lies with the renter. Renters are also liable for the new value of defective or missing equipment or parts, cables for example. We reserve the right to pass on extra charges incurred by the following renter through the late return of hired equipment to the previous renter in full.

Bus rental

Liability insurance with a CHF 500 deductible is included in the rental price as is collision damage insurance with a CHF 1,000 deductible. The renter is fully liable for any legal prejudice (especially regress of insurance, uncovered losses, deductible, etc.) for which the renter is fully liable. We reserve the right to transfer additional expense incurred by the next renter through the late return or defects in the car to the previous renter in full.
