Schoeps MK22 microphone
The MK 22 capsule with CMC1U amplifier is an ideal microphone for miking acoustic instruments, choirs or film ambiences. It can be used both solo and as a stereo pair (our two are a ‘matched pair’, a template for ideal positioning is optionally available). The directional characteristic is called ‘open cardioid’ and combines directionality and sonic transparency. A microphone in a class of its own, small and unobtrusive.
Attention: This is a condenser microphone and requires phantom power (+48V). It can therefore not be used with our photo cameras (5D, R5 or Alpha7), as these do not provide a power supply at the microphone input.
