LOM Geophon
The Geofón is a highly sensitive, omnidirectional microphone for field recordings. Originally developed for seismic measurements, it can be used with conventional recorders and audio interfaces, enabling the recording of even very faint vibrations. These can be detected in a wide variety of materials – from soil and sand to ice or frozen ground. The set includes a suction cup for mounting on smooth surfaces, a magnetic adapter for metallic surfaces, and a steel tip for dense materials such as soil or similar media.
