The Sony XLR K3M Adapter Kit provides two XLR/TRS combo inputs and one 3.5 mm stereo mini-jack input. When connected via the accessory shoe of a compatible camera, the audio signal is transmitted directly to the camera in digital form, so there is no loss of sound.
