Grants
Every year, the City and Canton of St.Gallen award work grants in the fields of literature, music, film, theatre and dance, history and memory as well as applied and visual arts. The call for applications runs from 1 January to 20 February. Applications can only be submitted online using a standardised form. What do I need to bear in mind? Am I even eligible for a work grant? How do I put together a meaningful dossier? What does ‘related to the canton of St.Gallen’ mean? Kristin Schmidt, Co-Head of Cultural Promotion in the City of St.Gallen, and Roger Berhalter from the Cantonal Cultural Promotion Department will provide answers to these and other questions on this evening. The two will also provide information on the various studio flats (for example in Rome and Berlin) that are open to St.Gallen artists.
