Video and Image Design with AI (Basics)
You will learn how to use AI tools for video, animation and sound design. At the Cultural Office, we have been providing software for some time now that enables image editing, upscaling and generative image and film production. We will show you how to use AI applications for ‘text-to-image’, ‘image-to-image’, ‘text-to-video’ and ‘text-to-sound’. As an exercise, you will build your own avatar and insert it into a video you have shot yourself, which you will then add sound to.
Bring along: 1) your own laptop and 2) a Gmail account for using AI freeware and AI freemium in 3) the Google Chrome browser.
RUN BY
Flo Olloz is co-director of the Kulturbüro Basel and teaches time-based media and animation at the Basel School of Design. He uses generative AI at the Kulturbüro to visualise ideas, create image-to-video animations, and upscale and enhance film footage
