Many institutions are unsure about how to collaborate with artists with disabilities or chronic illnesses, especially since many disabilities are invisible.
For artists with disabilities or chronic illnesses themselves, it is not easy to communicate their access needs.
However, for a successful collaboration, it is important that these needs are known and addressed.
The «access rider» is a tool that supports this process.
In this workshop, artists with disabilities or chronic illnesses will develop their own access rider and discuss it with others in a safe space.
The workshop is open to artists with disabilities or a chronic illnessess working. They have either attended the first workshop on December 7 or have some prior knowledge or experience with access riders.

- We’ll be on Zoom at 1:30 p.m. if you have any questions.
- If you have any technical issues, you can email us at support-access[at]kulturbuero.ch
- The workshop will be conducted in spoken German.
- Written communication via chat is welcome.
- We also offer translation into DSGS upon request. Please email us by December 7 if you’d like this option.
- Live captions will be provided.
- The workshop is a relaxed event: You can keep your camera off and take breaks as you see fit.
- You’re also welcome to snack, stimm and participate while lying down.
